Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 5.14% to 87,121 tons in August compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Monday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 23.08% to 297,375 tons in August, with the majority of imports from Algeria, Russia, the USA, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Georgia.
The country's LPG exports also fell by 19.27% year on year to 37,101 tons in August.
The top eight destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Romania, England, Lebanon and Free Zones of Türkiye.
Total LPG sales reached 367,479 tons.
