Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 9.4% to 84,649 tons in January compared to the same month in 2025, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
EMRA's latest LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 6.5% to 246,025 tons in January, with the majority of imports from Algeria, the US, Russia, Norway and Kazakhstan.
The country's LPG exports fell by 17.6% year on year to 53,406 tons in January.
The top destinations to which Türkiye exported LPG were the UAE, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Estonia, Greece, Syria, Marshall Islands, Romania, and Türkiye's Free Zones.
Total domestic LPG sales reached 292,849 tons in January.
