Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 6.44% to 72,303 tons in March compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Wednesday.
According to the country's LPG market report by EMRA, LPG imports rose by 2.75% to 309,371 tons in March 2024, with the US, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Russia accounting for the majority of imports.
The country's LPG exports also rose by 9.30% year over year to 37,229 tons in March.
The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Switzerland, Germany, Tunisia, Romania, Northern Cyprus, Lebanon, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Singapore and Turkish Free Zones.
Total LPG sales reached 322,414 tons.
