The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,899.99 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. (0500 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 900 liras at 5 a.m. and 12 p.m. (0300 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 23.5% to 831.7 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,633.08 liras and 1,654.99 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set as 3,050 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., (0500 and 0700 GMT) and at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (1500 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,249.98 liras at 1 p.m. (1000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.96 liras at 2.11 p.m. local time (1111 GMT) on Friday.
