The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,799.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 0.5% to around 1.22 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,364.31 liras and 2,370.81 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 liras between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1400–1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,493.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 27.56 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Thursday.
