The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 5 p.m.-10 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (1400-1900 and 2100 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,660 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 2.1% to around 2.34 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,239.93 liras and 3,234.02 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1400-2000 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,900 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 40.29 liras at 2.50 p.m. local time (1150 GMT) on Thursday.
