The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,390.06 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 689.57 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decrease of %8.8 to around 1.62 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,415.51 liras and 2,415.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,399 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 783.27 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.79 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Wednesday.
