The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,399.98 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,865 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 10.3% to around 2.02 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,952.34 liras and 2,950.61 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,488.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.53 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
