The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600-1800 GMT), according to official figures released on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,488.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 6.1% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,762.44 liras and 2,758.35 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Wednesday was set at 3,380 Turkish liras at 8 p.m local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,000 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.52 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Wednesday.
