The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,600 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time (0500 - 0800 GMT) and at 2 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1100, 1700, 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,250 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 5.9% to 1.10 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,098.19 liras and 2,131.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,600 liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1600 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,248.01 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.55 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Thursday.
