The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. and at 9 a.m. local time (between 2100 - 2300 GMT on Thursday and at 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,894.98 kuruş liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decline of 4% to around 1.67 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,469.59 liras and 2,468.50 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 2 p.m., and between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1100 GMT and between 1400 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,608.48 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.86 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Thursday.
