The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 8.00 a.m, 9 a.m. local time and between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (0500-0600 GMT and 1100-1900 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,685 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows a decline of 7% to 1.19 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,420.23 liras and 2,440.29 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras between 8.00 a.m and 10 a.m. local time and between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500-0700 GMT and 1100-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined 2,198.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 28.28 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Tuesday.
