The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. local time (0600-1100, 1400,1500 GMT), according to official figures released Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,800.01 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Wednesday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 2.1% to around 1.86 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,905.65 liras and 2,972.11 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 3,400 liras between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. and at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (0400-0600, 1400, 1500, and 1800 GMT), while the lowest was at 1,719.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 42.94 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
