The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,898.11 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000 liras at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0600 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 20.3% to around 1.24 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,364.89 liras and 2,343.79 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 00.00 a.m, 01.00 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (2100 GMT, 2200 GMT, 1600 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,374.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.98 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
