The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 00.00 a.m, 01.00 a.m. and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (2100 GMT, 2200 GMT, 1600 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,374.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 15.4% to around 1.55 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,364.89 liras and 2,343.79 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 09.00 a.m, and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0600 GMT on Thursday, 1600 - 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,109 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.01 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Friday.
