The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 718 Turkish liras between 08.00-23.00 local time (0500-2000 GMT), while the lowest will be 450.73 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday's electricity market showed an increase of 22.6% to 346.24 million liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 652.03 liras and 654.86 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Sunday was set as 718 Turkish liras between 15.00-22.00 local time (1200-1900 GMT), while the lowest was as 400.01 liras at 09.00 local time (0600 GMT).
US$1 equals 8.96 Turkish liras at 1109 GMT on Sunday.
