The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 4,701.36 Turkish liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 500 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 9.44% to 1.31 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,596.90 liras and 2,792.26 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 4,800 liras 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. local time (0500 and 0600 GMT) and 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (1300 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was agreed at 550 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.62 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
