The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 1400 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,424.99 liras at 1 p.m. to local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 0.9% to around 1.43 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,458.97 liras and 2,484.27 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., and between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 1400 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,409.99 liras at 12 p.m. to local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.25 liras at 2.23 p.m. local time (1123 GMT) on Thursday.
