The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 9 a.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0600, 1400, 1500 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,799.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.28% to 1.74 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,527.98 liras and 2,561.90 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300, 1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,140 liras at 11 p.m. local time (2000GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.44 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
