The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 435 Turkish liras at 16.00 local time and the lowest will be 294.63 liras at 05.00 local time, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday's electricity market showed an increase of 8.25% to 217.9 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 338.04 liras and 342.15 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Tuesday was set as 400 liras at 15.00 and 16.00 local times and the lowest at 290 liras at 03.00, 04.00 and 05.00 local times.
US$1 equals 7.34 Turkish liras at 1128 GMT on Tuesday.
