The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,996 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures released on Thursday.
The data showed that the lowest rate is set at 0 liras between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0600 - 1200 GMT).
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 38.8% to around 386.26 million liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,116.24 liras and 1,081.63 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,240 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 11 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT).
US$1 equals 39.35 liras at 2.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Thursday.
