The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300-1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,799.98 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 4% to 1.79 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,570.24 liras and 2,590.41 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. local time (0500, 0600 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,849.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.37 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
