The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,600 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time (0500 and 0800 GMT), and between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1500 - 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,390 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed an decrease of 5.96% to 1.01 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,206.54 liras and 2,225.91 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set 2,600 liras at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), and between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (1400 - 2000 GMT) while the lowest rate was set at 1,080 liras at 3 a.m. local time (1200 GMT), according to official figures.
