The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 849.99 Turkish liras at 15.00 local time and the lowest will be 292.54 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Monday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday's electricity market showed an increase of 22.34% to 257.52 million liras compared to Sunday's.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 440.35 liras and 454.25 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Monday was set as 700 liras at 18.00 and19.00 local time and the lowest at 221.76 liras at 04.00 local time.
US$1 equals 7.77 Turkish liras at 1125 GMT on Monday.
