The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500, 1400 - 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is set as 2,499.98 liras at 12 a.m. and 11.00 pm local time (0900 and 2000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed a decrease of 15.8% to 1.66 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,582.96 liras and 3,607.82 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 4,800 liras between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1300 - 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,799.99 liras at 12 a.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.61 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
