The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500 GMT, 1400 - 1500 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,643.87 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday's electricity market shows an increase of 10.5% to around 1.45 billion Turkish liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,292.30 liras and 2,302.57 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,700 liras at 8 a.m. and at 17.00 a.m. local time (0500 and 1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,000 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 29.06 liras at 2.36 p.m. local time (1136 GMT) on Monday.
