The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 1,745 Turkish liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT) on Friday, while the lowest is determined as 1,300 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday's electricity market showed a decrease of 13.8% to 712.2 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,618.34 liras and 1,614.83 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Friday was set as 1,745 liras between 07.00 and 10.00 local time (0400 - 0700 GMT) and between 14.00 and 23.00 local time (1100 - 2000 GMT), with the lowest at 1,499.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 14.24 liras at 1134 GMT on Friday.
