The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 09.00 a.m, and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (0600 GMT on Thursday, 1600 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,109 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an decrease of 8.13% to around 1.84 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,712.01 liras and 2,718.44 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 00 a.m, 01.00 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100, 2200 GMT on Wednesday, 1100 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2,170 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.09 liras at 2.25 p.m. local time (1125 GMT) on Thursday.
