The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6. p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m., local time (0500 - 0600 - 1400 - 1500 -1600 - 1800GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is set at 1,974.99 liras between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0090 and 1000GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 9.3% to 1.77 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,619.70 liras and 2,643.54 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6. p.m. local time (0500 - 0600 - 0700 - 1400 - 1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,139.99 liras between 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.65 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Thursday.
