Hourly power consumption peaked at 20.00 local time with 38,383 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 28,464 megawatt-hours at 05.00.
Total electricity production reached 821,558 megawatt-hours on Thursday with a 2.7% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 195,631 megawatt-hours. Imported coal and wind plants followed with 167,696 megawatt-hours and 137,925 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 6,196 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 9,379 megawatt-hours.
