The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (0500, 0800 and 1200-2000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1989.01 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows an increase of 2.6% to around 1.54 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,473.03 liras and 2,471.42 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 12 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. local time (2300 and 1300-2000 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,194.86 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.51 liras at 2.45 p.m. local time (1145 GMT) on Thursday.
