The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 500.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 15.36% to around 1.48 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,937.20 liras and 1,915.30 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set 2,700 liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,493.60 at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.24 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Wednesday.
