The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1500-1800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,449.99 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900-1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Saturday's electricity market shows a decrease of 13.8% to around 1.39 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,296.66 liras and 2,284.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Friday was set at 2,700 Turkish liras at 9 a.m, and between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0600, and between 1500 and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,994.23 liras at 2 a.m. local time (2300 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.22 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Friday.
