The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 2,690 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,600 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Wednesday's electricity market shows an increase of 12.6% to around 1.59 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,432.33 liras and 2,458,87 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Tuesday was set at 2,649 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. local time (0500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,450 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 31.62 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Tuesday.
