The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,690.01 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local times (0500, 1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,594.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows a decrease of 3.8% to around 1.53 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,386.53 liras and 2,392.83 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,690 Turkish liras at 9 a.m. local time (0600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,600 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 31.73 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
