The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (between 1500 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,449.99 at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 0.71% to around 1.58 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,392.66 liras and 2,391.40 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,700 liras at 9 a.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0600, 1700 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,972 liras at 4 p.m. local time (1300 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.20 liras at 2.18 p.m. local time (1118 GMT) on Thursday.
