The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700-1900 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,560.48 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 4.79% to around 1.54 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,386.71 liras and 2,385.78 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,700 liras between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (1400-1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,608.49 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.35 liras at 2.06 p.m. local time (1106 GMT) on Thursday.
