The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 7 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 500.01 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday's electricity market shows a decrease of 19% to around 1.36 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,217.23 liras and 2,238.71 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 12 a.m, 1 a.m and 8 p.m. local time (2100 GMT, 2200 GMT and 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,894.97 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.89 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
