The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 277.20 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time, and the lowest will be 1 Turkish lira between 03.00-07.00 local times, according to official figures on Tuesday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Tuesday showed a decrease of 13.8% to 30.5 million liras compared to Monday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 74.41 liras and 77.61 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Tuesday was set as 249 Turkish liras at 20.00, and the lowest as 1.85 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.76 Turkish liras at 1140 GMT on Tuesday.
