The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 1200 and 13000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,007 liras at 11 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 1.2% to around 1.61 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,628.91 liras and 2,651,24 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and between 4 p.m and 8 p.m. local time (0500, 0600, 1300 - 1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 2.127 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.36 liras at 2.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
