DAMASCUS (AA) - Assad regime troops killed at least 12 and wounded many others in a barrel bomb attack in Syrian capital Damascus.
Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) said on Thursday that barrel bomb dropped from regime jets left 12 dead while wounding many others including children and women.
The opposition was concerned about the increase in the number of dead, the statement said.
More than 100,000 people have been killed in the two and a half year conflict, according to the UN, while over two million people have fled the country to take refuge in other countries, mostly in neighboring Jordan, Turkey. Lebanon and Iraq.
