Doncic signs supermax contract with Mavericks
Luka Doncic to have $207M for 5 seasons, deal to begin in 2022

ANKARA
Slovenian basketball star Luka Doncic on Tuesday sealed a massive multi-year contract with his team Dallas Mavericks.
"Mavericks, Doncic officially sign five-year supermax extension," the Mavericks said on its website.
The NBA's Western Conference franchise said his new deal was reported to be worth $207 million and it will start in the 2022-23 season.
So the Mavericks will keep him on the squad until 2027.
"It was the largest rookie contract extension in history," Dallas added.
The 22-year-old guard has been playing for the Mavericks since 2018.
Last season Doncic averaged 27.7 points, 8.6 assists, and 8 rebounds per game for the Mavericks.
Before Dallas, Doncic had played for the Spanish powerhouse Real Madrid.
He is also playing for the Slovenian national team.
