Basketball: Euroleague Final Four fever set to start
Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four semi-finals to be played on Friday.
ISTANBUL
The top tier club-level basketball tournament in Europe, the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four, is set to begin in Madrid on Friday.
Spanish giants Real Madrid will be hosting the event at Barclaycard Center.
The first match in the Final Four will be played between Russia's CSKA Moscow and Greek club Olympiakos at 18.00 CET (1600 GMT).
The showdown between Turkish side Fenerbahce Ulker and Real Madrid will tip off at 21.00 CET (1900 GMT).
Winners of the Final Four will compete in the final on May 17 starting at 20.00 CET (1800 GMT) while the losers will meet in the third place playoff.
The consolation game will begin at 17.00 CET (1500 GMT).
Istanbulite club Fenerbahce Ulker is playing in the Euroleague Final Four for the first time in its history.
