ANKARA
Besiktas drew against Akhisar Belediyespor, 1-1, in the Spor Toto Super League match day 31 at the Manisa 19 Mayis Stadium Thursday.
Home team Akhisar Belediyespor scored the leading goal in the 14th minute when the header of their forward, Mehmet Akyuz, went in, 1-0.
Visitors Besiktas scored the equalizer with Demba Ba's header in the 54th minute, 1-1. Argentine midfielder Jose Sosa produced the assist.
Besiktas' goal was disallowed near the end of the game because Cenk Tosun was in the offside position. Later, Besiktas increased the pressure to score the winning goal, however, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
Leaders Galatasaray have 70 points. Fenerbahce are in the second spot with 67 points and Besiktas come in third with 66 points with three games to spare.
