The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 9 a.m., and between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100, 2200, 0600 and between 1700-1900 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,774.99 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 7.40% to around 1.83 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,570.44 liras and 2,567.04 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,700 liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. local time (2100, 2200, 0700, 0800, and 1000 - 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 2,474.15 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 32.4 liras at 2.58 p.m. local time (1158 GMT) on Thursday.
