The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,000 at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows an increase of 17.8% to around 1.4 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,243.13 liras and 2,258.27 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0500, 1500 GMT) while the lowest rate at 650.14 at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.15 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
