BAGHDAD
At least 22 Iraqis were killed and 57 others injured in a spate of attacks across Iraq on Thursday.
Fifteen people were killed and 33 others injured in a motorcycle explosion in Sadr City in eastern Baghdad, a security source told Anadolu Agency.
A car bomb blast also rocked the Sadr City, killing two people and injured four others, policeman Ali Mohamed said.
One person was killed and eight others were injured when an explosive device exploded aboard a passenger vehicle in northern Baghdad.
Militants shot an Iraqi policeman dead in al-Ghazaliya district in western Baghdad on Thursday.
Three more people were killed and 11 others wounded in a bomb blast in the northern town of Tuz Khormato.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Recent months have seen an uptick in violence across Iraq.
Although most attacks go unclaimed, Iraqi authorities usually blame Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
