Denmark will enjoy their fifth participation in a World Cup when they go against France, Peru and Australia in Group C.

Denmark's road to Russia 2018 collided with Northern Ireland's in the European qualification playoffs. Denmark defeated their opponents to the scores of 0-0 and 5-1.

The Nordic country had finished the group qualifiers in second place after Poland.

Denmark have promising talents in their squad. They will trust legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel's son Kasper Schmeichel -- who plays for Premier League side Leicester City -- to protect their goal.

The leader of the team is Christian Eriksen, who plays for another Premier League side Tottenham. Eriksen was pivotal in Denmark's qualification, scoring 11 goals in qualifying matches.

The Danish Dynamites' best record in the World Cup came in 1998, when they reached the quarterfinals but were eliminated by runners-up Brazil, 3-2.
