NBA: Los Angeles Lakers' Anthony Davis undergoes MRI
7-time All-Star will not play in clash with Minnesota Timberwolves, say Lakers

ISTANBUL
Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has undergone an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan, the Lakers announced on Monday.
"Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis underwent an MRI today. The results showed no rupture of the right Achilles tendon," the club said in a statement.
"Davis will miss tomorrow's game vs. Minnesota, and will be further evaluated by team doctors upon his return to Los Angeles," it added.
The seven-time All-Star helped the team clinch an NBA title in 2020.
Davis, 27, averaged 22.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and three assists during this season.
