Los Angeles Lakers gain 17 wins, 2 losses, tie best start in franchise history
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Washington Wizards 125-103 on Friday night, marking their 10th consecutive win in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Lakers' superstar duo Lebron James and Anthony Davis were in form, as they combined for 49 points, 16 rebounds and 13 assists.
Los Angeles Lakers improved to 17 wins and 2 losses with the win and tied the best start in franchise history ('08-'09 season).
The Lakers were the dominant side from start to finish, as they went up by 21 points after the first half (70-49).
James played only in 24 minutes, scoring 23 points and dishing out 11 assists, while Davis scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Davis and James were accompanied by role players, as JaVale McGee posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Danny Green, Rajon Rondo and Quinn Cook all scored in double figures.
Bradley Beal, 18 points, and rookie Rui Hachimura, 16 points, were the only significant performers for the Wizards, as the team dropped to 6 wins and 11 losses.
